www.farmlinkkenya.com is a comprehensive and upto-date extension web portal for farmers to get comprehensive, upto date farming information from one site. Our portal allows users to get information on:

  1. Input providers: Information on credible input providers (machinery & equipment, seeds, greenhouse and irrigation, farm chemicals e.t.c), their contacts and links to their website
  2. Agroservice providers : (breeders, legislation, marketing, A.I services, soiltesting & andalyses.
  3. Weather and Climate Updates - Daily weather forecasts with linkage to Kenya Meteorological department
  4. DIY Manuals and Articles - We have created a database of "Do it Yourself" Manuals and articles to equip farmers with needed technical information, research articles and simplified farming information.
  5. Farm Finance - user of the site get information on banks, microfinance and other organizations extending loans and capital assets to farmers.
  6. Webinars and Video Library - this are online & downloadable farmer videos offering guidance to farmers about agro-enterprises in the entire value chain.
  7. Market Price updates - provides update market prices of commodities in the major local towns
  8. SMS service & Social Media- farmers get more information on sending short sms message via the mobile phone. Farmers can also join conversations on @farmlinkkenya facebook page and on @farmlinkkenya twitter handle.
  9. Lets Link Live - this is a platform enabling farmers to connect live and have one on one live classes with other farmers/experts.
