Skype in the Classroom

MEDF is a partner of Skype classroom, a project by Microsoft inc. Through Skype Classroom, we have achieved unrivalled success by hosting over 400 classes across the globe travelling over 1.3million miles virtually in one year. We have hosted and continue to host classes on: Food security and Water harvesting, Environmental conservation, Kenyan cultures, Virtual tour to the rural village life in Kenya and Community giving.

The impact of our work through Skype classroom has been felt not only by the students and teachers we meet but to our community. We have established Skype collaboration with teachers and students who have supported needy families in Kenya under the "HIV Family Initiative Community Project" to install water harvesting tanks, Establish vegetable gardens at their homes and schools here in Kenya.
